Thanks, Riley. I feel like this is a bigger issue than just my current formula. The effective doses listed in the materia medica don’t seem to match what David Caldwell is doing, at least in his Capsules. I haven’t looked at every formulation, of course, but it seems like when he is using more than one herb in a capsule the effective doses are lower then what the materia medica says to do. So I think I’m just going to model my capsules on what I see him doing. If I gave the effective dose of both herbs, it would probably be too many capsules to take… Did I miss this teaching somewhere? I wish I understood this better. Is there a place to learn it? Or is this another class I need to take? Thanks, Katy
