Hi again,
I had a discussion with a pilates client of mine today . She uses Becel and I spoke to her about the benefits of more natural oils and one of the good oils; coconut oil in cooking. Becel contains Canola and sunflower oils 74% as well as modified palm and palm kernel oils. From the course, canola and sunflower are higher in omega 6 and on the list of those which we should avoid. She was worried about the problems with high levels of saturated fat in the coconut oil (as compared to canola and sunflower). I didn’t know how to respond to this. In addition I know that there are issues with palm oil but this was not mentioned in the course. Any insight?
Thanks a bunch
Michele
