Hello,

I am wondering about making capsules but wondering if it is 100% necessary to actually put the herb in a capsule once ground? I remember someone saying that the capsules actually protects the herb from the stomach acid allowing it to be better absorbed into the digestive system. Would the affect of a herb be significantly less without the capsule, or only mildly? For examples, milk thistle and dandelion root capsules. Your suggestions are appreciated.
