Jess,

I’m not filled in on your current sinus concerns but those herbs are safe and can be very supportive for the respiratory system. I’ll provide a few points about each of them below. I wouldn’t recommend using all of the herbs we’ve discussed at the same time. It may be best to work with around 3, each offering something different for a synergistic medicinal effect. this way, it is easier to build a relationship with them and see what’s working, and what isn’t. I hope this helps! Let me know if you’d like to chat more about this. 🙂

Nettle

-Fantastic as tea! This could become a part of your daily nutrition.

Eyebright
-This is root medicine so if you want to make a water-based preparation you will have to do a decoction.
-Tincture dose: 2-6 mL per day.
-Large doses can be emetic

Reishi
-This is a hard polypore mushroom that once again you would have to decoct for a long-time to extract its medicinal qualities into water
-If you want to work with this plant, I’d recommend instead using a tincture or capsules made with dual extracted powder
-Tincture dose: 6-8 mL per day

Chinese skullcap
-Another root! So, you will need to decoct.
-Can be used for chronic diseases.
-Tincture dose: 3-12 mL per day
