Thank you Lisa for your help. Where I live in central BC, we garden in zone 2b/3. I will make an experiment of my Scutellaria bailcalensis, leaving some well mulched in the garden, and potting some up to bring indoors. I’m already potting up my lemon balm and holy basil.
I made a Scutellaria lateriflora tincture with 95% alcohol a couple of days ago. What alcohol percentage would you have used and would you recommend a lower alcohol percentage? If so, is it too late to dilute it? I find so many schools of thought on the alcohol percentages to use for fresh herbs.
