I have a question for Robert as well…I have his Mushroom Essences book and have made a few essences over the past year or so (big appreciation for this book!)…
My question is regarding moon phases. Generally I try to harvest at the full moon, as this is ideal for making the essences…however I recently harvested a small amount of a red belted conk – the day of the harvest was the new moon in this case, and we are just now into a waxing crescent…
So wondering how many days it can safely be in the water – can I continue to put it out each night under the moon until full moon – 2 weeks? – or is that too long to be in the water?
