Hi Everyone,
I am currently enrolled in the Community Herbalist program and am so excited to be part of this group. I’m a permaculture practitioner in London, Ontario who has a deep love of plants and an interest in growing medicine in addition to food. I am also a small scale beekeeper and love to create landscapes in which people and bees flourish. I teach and write about permaculture and hope to add the creation of herbal medicinal products – and honey – into my work.
I am also working on my PhD in Geography at Western University. I’m (hopefully) in the final stages of my dissertation which examines the relationship between urban bees (honey and native) and people in Toronto and London. In my free time I engage in community activism. cycle, play the banjo, and (mainly) navigate a busy household of four teenagers!
