I think I see what’s going on. The way the question is worded is ‘kind of’ unfair. I put ‘kind of’ in quotations because when people make tests they add words to make things more interesting (read: confusing).
What you have to do with this question is ask yourself, “What prescription is BEST for this patient?” That’s ultimately what we’re concerned with.
If you’re asking me if I would go back to an original prescription that wasn’t working? No. But this is a test and what they are REALLY asking you for is the BEST acupoint prescription.
It’s a good question you ask because it teaches us to take a test, without adding our opinions to it.
