I’m having a bit of confusion when thinking about warming/cooling foods.
In the lessons and books it might say something similar to “eat cooling foods such as: watermelon, cucumber, celery etc.” – the etc. part is throwing me off and I am wondering if there is a way to tell or know if a food is more cooling or warming?
I can see how juicier fruits and veg might be more cooling because they are hydrating but how to know with other foods/herbs/spices? Is there a trick to know if a food is more cooling or warming? Is there a science behind it at all?
