FAQ

How do I sign up for an account on PRCO?

Simply buy a course. If you are not signed in to an account when you buy the course, you’ll be prompted to choose a password before checkout. Once checkout is complete, you’re set up as a student!

How do I log into my account?

Click here or click Sign In at the top right of the screen. If you see a button that says Account then you’re already signed in. If you don’t remember your username, you can sign in with your email and the password you set at checkout.

I lost my password.

No problem. You can reset your password at login (be sure to check your junk/spam mail if you don’t see the password reset email).

Didn’t receive the email? Email us at support@pacificrimcollege.online and we’ll send you a link to your account email to reset your password.

How do I access courses that I’ve signed up for?

If you’re signed in, you’ll see the Account button at the top right of the screen. This will take you to a page where you can see the courses you’ve purchased. If you’ve started a course previously, you can click the Resume button to carry on where you last left off.

If you’re enrolled in a program with us, you may find the welcome video below helpful:

How do I access a certificate for a course that I’ve completed?

On completion of a course, a certificate is automatically emailed to the email you gave us when you signed up.

In case you lose, don’t receive, or simply wish to print your certificate again, you can do so by signing on to your account and navigating to any course with a completed status. Completed courses have a ‘Print Your Certificate’ button on the page.

Important Note: If you don’t receive a certificate, you might have missed completing a unit. Go back through your course to finish that unit(s), and you will receive your certificate afterwards. Please note that you must watch each course video in full AND mark it as complete for it to register properly.

How can I access my invoices and receipts? Does PRCO issue tax receipts?

All your invoices/receipts are accessible on your student dashboard. Access and download any invoices by:

  1. Logging into your PRCO account and clicking My Account in the top-right of the screen.
  2. Then, scroll down to find My Orders on the left-hand side of the page.
  3. Click My Orders and you’ll see a list of all your past orders’ receipts. You may either click View or Print as you prefer. To save as a PDF, click Print and then select the Save as PDF option.

Due to the differences in regulations regarding online, self-paced courses and campus or even live, online courses, PRCO is not eligible to issue tax receipts.

How do I request my 7-day money back guarantee?

If you have purchased a stand-alone course and are within seven days of purchase, please submit your request via our contact page to arrange a reimbursement. Please note you are not eligible for a refund if you have watched more than 50% of the course or program, or if you have received your certificate.

Do I need a code for the 15% bundle discount on three or more courses?

No, you don’t need a code. The discount is automatically applied at checkout if you’ve added three or more courses to your cart. Please note that this offer is not valid during sitewide sales (like Back to Learning) unless otherwise noted.

My course is not reading as complete, yet I have watched all of the videos.

If your course is still showing that it isn’t complete, you may have missed clicking ‘Mark Complete’ on one or more units. Simply look back through your units and if you see a ‘Mark Complete’ button, you will need to click it. Once they are all clicked, you will see that your course is 100% complete and you will be able to access your certificate of completion. Please note that you will only able to click ‘Mark Complete’ once your unit video has played in its entirety—even a few seconds left will prevent it from being marked complete.

My videos are playing without sound

This has to do with a browser update that causes any videos that auto-play to auto-mute. Please manually turn the volume on by hovering over the video to view controls, then clicking the tallest volume bar in the bottom-right of your video player (it should turn blue). You can also use your up and down arrow keys to adjust volume while the video is playing.

My videos keep freezing.

  • Most often this is a browser issue. Please open a different browser (Chrome often works best) and log back in to watch your videos again.
  • Be sure that your computer is updated.
  • Log out and in again.
  • Refresh your cache.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Be sure that your internet signal is strong.
  • Turn your internet off for 10 seconds and then back on.
  • On occasion Vimeo (who hosts our videos) will have some video delays which usually resolve within an hour or two.

If your videos continue to freeze, please contact our tech support team under the ‘contact us’ tab to report the issue you are having so that they can help resolve your issue ASAP.

I’m having trouble uploading my assignment.

Typically, this is a file size issue.

  • Currently, our upload limit for assignment files is 2MB
  • To check file size on a Mac: look in Finder at the file and scroll over to the “Size” column.
  • To check file size on a PC: locate your file and right-click on it and then select “Properties,” or go to File Explorer/Windows Explorer/My Computer and click “View” and then select “Details.” Then, locate your file, then find the “Size” column.
  • If your file size is 2MB or larger, please resize it. PDFCompressor is one free, online service you can use.
  • Once you’ve reduced the size, upload your assignment again. You should then see a notification that says “You have an assignment awaiting approval” along with a document now showing under the “Assignment” box heading.
  • TIP: Usually, we find that PDFs are smaller than Word documents. Click here for instructions on saving a Word doc as a PDF.

If your assignment file is under 2MB and you’re still not able to upload it, please send the file to support@pacificrimcollege.online
